How can anyone cast a vote for a guy like Paxton that won’t get on stage and debate. It’s the bare minimum.
GOP spending $200,000,000 on a guy that won’t show up.

If Cornyn had just gotten a few more % points in the primary this race would be a non topic. Paxton actually underperformed his polling by 6 points. (Talarico overperformed by a similar number as an aside)
Paxton got the last minute Trump stamp in a runoff with very low turnout.

Why wouldn’t every person who would have or did vote for Corn not almost automatically redirect their votes to Paxton, if for nothing else than to keep Talifreako out of office?
Independents and suburban women who lean Republican think he's gross and hate him.

Even if Paxton somehow wins, it’s still ridiculous. Texas should be a safe seat and yet it’s going to exhaust a bunch of money and resources that should be directed elsewhere to competitive states.
Exactly

How come you or Lou didn’t complain about the waste of money in the primary by Cornyn? Paxton only spent 10 mil to his 100. Resources should be all in now for the general election.

Because it's still worse to cast a vote for the other party

I address this to a particular group of subs, or maybe it’s a particular sub section among us, anyhow what’s the deal with y’all being seemingly programmed to, well like when you’re reading some post and your eyes get to any indicators that mention of the concept of at a bare minimum doing what you can to keep the Democrat from winning xyz office…….do y’all eyes turn off until any reference to that is out of frame? I mean, it really is the stuff of clown world that a rightist could argue against that.

Your above the fray shtick will be real righteous when you are completely surrounded by Guatemalans, Mexicans, and Hondurans especially if the governor loses as well. It might be entertaining watching you destroy your own state over John Cornyn lol

Ron Desantis barely beat a gay coke head in 2018.

You’re gonna upset people by mentioning that.

I seem to remember just 2 years ago that Trump didnt show up for debates and still won the primary. And then the general, with ease. Became the first (R) president to win the popular vote in 20 years
Debates for Republicans are nothing more than :gotcha: moments for marxists journalists. Every (R) candidate should avoid them from now on

It is truly a remarkable feat to lose to a dipshit who said publicly there are six biological sexes and prohibited meat consumption on his campaign due to climate change. The fact that this is even a competitive race is hilarious.

All while it seems Trump is gaslighting us into thinking the economy is great.
Might be great for the few, but not the many.
I'll vote R, but it pisses me off. And for most people, they won't vote or they will vote against Rs

“An idiot of a candidate, but Im gonna vote for him. Worst possible choice ever. Im still gonna go cast my vote for em though. I’m gonna vote for him, but I wouldn’t piss on em if he were on fire.”
Clever plan to make your vote worth while.

Bragging abt a 1pt lead in a district that Trump won by +20 is interesting.
