I think most posters pick a favorite board. Mine is the movie board. But no good shows or movies right now.
There is good info on this board and while I dont agree many are highly intelligent and have interesting points.
To me I live how once what was revered is loathed. Like W or McCain. And wonder if in 10 years this board will turn on Trump the same way.

I would prefer not to be a contrarian. I would like to have a dialogue, and I enjoy the threads and conversations with people I can really talk to. But on those rare occasions, it's rather impossible to do when you have bored, sdv, btmo, timeoday angle and others that just jump in here and start attacking someone with childish, uneducated name-calling;
it's a distraction from real conversation
I wish the Poliboard was more like the MSB
MSB is probably my favorite board to read because it has some really good insights, opinions, and thoughts, and I would like this place to be something like that.
