Now tell us how much you were paying them and show proof you paid all of the payroll taxes.

No one hates tacos, taco establishments, or Mexican people. Just do it the right way in accordance with the law and basic morality. That’s all. This isn’t complicated.

American liberals, who for DECADES insisted that businesses who hire illegals are the real problem, will run endless stories about this poor taco chain and its owners shattered American dream.

Let me guess, the one in Mexico was the corporate location and all the money flowed back there, probably tax free somehow

This story warms my heart, but the taco chains owners and managers need to be fined heavily for hiring illegals.

I'm a Trump guy but some of the ICE strategies are a bit misguided.

Go ride by a few commercial jobsites this morning in S. Louisiana and let me know how things are going. Do you think all the white and black people finally showed up? It's a great opportunity for all those folks you all think are being shut out of the job market to get those jobs. Instead, I know a lot of guys who are basically just staying at the house the next 2 weeks because they're afraid to go to work.

The Dems already have the perennial black vote. They're slowly working to get the perennial hispanic vote. I know y'all are rah-rahing all the raids but we're watching a GOP car crash in slow motion. But what's new?

So, ICE hits "a couple of houses" and one restaurant chain lost 10% of its workforce? This is what I voted for.

You can rest assured that no one went hungry. It just means that their customers went somewhere else to eat...presumably with a legal kitchen staff.

Where is the article about all the new business at these other establishments?

2 homes? Yikes. Bet the neighbors aren't sad to see them go.

A lot of mexican restaurants owned by Mexicans (and Chinese restaurants too) for years have been bringing over illegals and making them work as indentured servants. The restaurant owner pays to get them here, puts them up, feeds them, and they have to stay and work at the restaurant to pay their debt off. They keep a cycle of people coming through.

Arrest and fine business owners who hire illegals and cut off the government benefits and 80% will self deport. Save money on ICE, resources, etc

An Arizona taco chain was forced to close seven of its restaurants

Forced? I think it's more like they chose to close rather than hire some legal help.

Happened around here earlier in the year. Owner under Federal investigation for hiring illegals, local Democrats making the guy out to be a saint and a pillar of his community.

guess this "mom and pop" business didnt have the money to pay their employees payroll taxes either......

dont stop with arresting and deporting the illegals.... fine and arrest the business owners as well....
