When ga put in work requirements people got off welfare.
These were abled body adults just living free.
The problem isn’t helping people, the problem is the allowed abuse of the system.
quote:
How has the end of the waiver affected the SNAP rolls in these three counties? According to the Division of Family and Children Services, 6,102 able-bodied adults without disabilities were receiving food stamps when the counties’ waiver ended in January. By April, when the three-month deadline took effect, that number had shrunk to 2,590, a whopping 58 percent decrease.
These were abled body adults just living free.
quote:
Beginning in 2016, Gwinnett, Hall and Cobb counties became the first three Georgia counties to restore SNAP time limits for able-bodied adults without dependents – those ages 18-49 with no dependents and no disabilities. They are only allowed to receive SNAP benefits for three months in three years unless they meet work requirements.

Death Penalty would be better deterrent for crime.
And swift enforcement, not this 5 appeal BS

Also if the communist cubs fan wants UBI, then everyone should get it, including Elon musk.
You can’t just keep taking from the producers. We are becoming outnumbered.

There’s an element of society that won’t independently support themselves. Since it’s not legal to take them out back and kill them. We put them in slums and let them do it to each other.
Providing just enough support to keep them there but not enough to encourage others to do the same.

To attribute the increase in crime because people stopped receiving free money is a shallow and unproductive way to see the problem.
It is unproductive, but not shallow. Obviously when a 'right' is take away, people who have depended on that 'right' are liable to 'break the law' in the immediate aftermath.
Just look at all the commentary on here relative to the topic of 'they are going to take our guns away" - you have everything from simple noncompliance to threats of felonious activity as the probably result. And I include myself somewhere on that spectrum.
HOwEVer - when it is obvious that some federally mandated process is produce BAD RESULTS, that process must be eliminated, if not reversed. Take any poverty stricken household and suddenly take away their ability to purchase food - and then put a hungry baby in that house. - I would EXPECT some thievery from the grocery store in the immediate wake.
Presumably, there would be some 'transition' processes defined as an adjunct to a cessation of welfare.

Isn’t this kind of the same thing as stealing from me then?
What you are basically doing is holding a gun up to me saying give me $3k or your toast.
Give me your money or I’m going to make your city a crime ridden hellhole.

It’s only going to get worse as more illegal immigration occurs and jobs for the common man are outsourced and /or replaced with automation.

bullshite.
What creates crime is entire neighborhoods where the people have nothing to do.
Let’s go back to those who don’t work, don’t eat and when people get hungry they will work and won’t have time to commit crimes.
These people don’t wake up until noon and that isn’t good for anyone.

Not as dramatically as eliminating single-motherhood.
If we were to drastically overhaul the welfare system and limit these clown-car vagina baby makers to one child per household benefits, the country would make a miraculous change.

Just come out and say what you are thinking: You hate black people and you want to see a significant number of them enslaved by their Democrat masters for their entire lives, THAT'S what you really want.

This is a known fact. Welfare is a bribe to the keep the lower-class pacified and to keep them from charging the gates.
But welfare caused this problem to begin with, so it's a nasty circle.

It appears lefties have given up on black people and decided that it was impossible for them to stay straight without government paying them to do so.
Democrats were the original slaveholders, so this shouldnt be surprising. They still believe black people should be wards of the state.

Appeal to Authority is a sure sign you're losing the argument ESPECIALLY in 2023 when all those "experts" have been outed as nothing more than greedy hacks.

Incarceration, holding people to account, and not having dem DAs prevents crime, quite dramatically.
But that would be putting people in prison that deserve to be there and we would be labeled racist for it.

Same for humans, handouts lead to dependency.

Studies show that incarcerating people for theft or shooting thieves also prevents crime quite dramatically.
