In other fake news: A study also concluded Batman drastically reduced the rate of violent crime amongst Gotham’s notorious super villains.

Fact: People that believe that welfare is any kind of solution are misguided to the point of stupidity.

If we had better laws then they wouldn’t get arrested so much . They would stay in prison . The idea of giving people welfare to keep them from breaking the law is crazy .

That’s because getting a job certainly isn’t going to happen.

Right. The good outweighs the bad. I support welfare programs for the elderly and disabled, but only them. And with tight controls on qualifications

So what you are saying is without someone paying their way they will steal from others? Kind of opposite of people that work do right? Most people that work look to better themselves while people that take welfare or lose it tend not to better themselves.

Agree with Stout.
You create a market for free money, the customers will grow and the requirements in that market will be taken advantage of.
You see an immediate deterioration in the family unit after welfare kicked in.
Lyndon Johnson and the democrats were fully aware of what it would do to the inner city and most importantly they could turn them into a permanent democrat voting block.

Welfare creates a permanent underclass.

Is that what Progressives want?

Welfare literally encourages the behavior we do not want

which is bringing children, multiple children into this would without a stable home or a father.

93% of Blacks vote Democrat ...

75% of their children are born out of wedlock

I mean it's time to address this brokenness...

Government can't fix it but it certainly can make it worse

Why not just cut every social program at once and stand our ground when they break into our houses two days later

Instead of paying these people not to revolt forever we get it all over in a couple weeks

Have you been to the grocery store lately? And you get 4 things and it’s $30 and then you look over at the person pulling 2 full carts and they pay with an ebt card?

The taxpayer is the underclass

another proof that indiscriminate 'welfare' destroys the human spirit and turns people into amoral animals.

Of course terminating the payoff will increase short-term criminal behavior, but it is the only way to salvage the long term goals of a responsible population.

As long as there is a free ride out there - with no questions asked, and lenient criminal law enforcement - there will be more people who wallow in it and thus destroy the potential for their progeny.

Bringing back the 2-parent family and strict law enforcement is the only solution to their long term problem of being 'separate' from the rest of society.

The Democrats have ridden the 'systemic racism' allegation into comical derision - there is so little actual racism these days they have to invent 'incidents' in order to even have a temporary taking point. The only true racists today are members of the Democrat leadership

Sounds like there's a perpetual and maybe even genetic predisposition for some groups to behave uncivilized regardless of what society does.

What a crock of shite! Such a leftist, entitled, weak perspective.
Good, honest, people work to earn... not steal. Sometimes it's hard and we have to do things we don't want to do, but stealing isn't a solution to anyone unless they lack fortitude, character, and good values. Which we usually learn at home from our parents. To attribute the increase in crime because people stopped receiving free money is a shallow and unproductive way to see the problem.
