When your Governor, Lt. Governor, both houses of your state legislature, and the majority of your U.S. House reps. are made up of Republicans, we know who is to blame for this whole election cycle’s fiasco:

Trump

He is political poison. Period. There is a certain percentage who will NEVER vote for him or his candidates. And without those people, you will LOSE elections. Over and over again.

Only the lowest dipshit/dumbass can’t seem to understand this.

Ok? That's acceptable... let it burn down. At least history will note the commies were responsible rather than the racist, anti-LGBTWTFEVER conservatives.

Ehhhh

Georgia just elected Burt Jones, who was stepping in as an elector for Trump over Biden and is currently under criminal investigation for doing so, as Lt Gov.

No, I really think this came down to Democrats just running a much better, much more organized, much more FUNDED, campaign.

The Republican establishment will not support the candidates chosen by their voters if that candidate was supported by Trump.

That is the issue. Not Trump.

Trump has undergone a 7 year onslaught from Democrats, the media and the Republican establishment.

It's no surprise it's been effective in driving up his negatives.

However, it's largely bullshite.

The remedy is for the party leadership to actually care about the issues of their voters, not pretend to care.

If the leadership fought for their voters, Trump would disappear like a fart in the wind.

They are why Trump rose in the first place!

You, like most, fundamentally misunderstand Trumpism.

Trump is not the disease, he was an attempt to fight the disease.

The disease is telling you to stop the treatment.

The disease will rage.

You hate Trump, fine but do not take the advice of the disease.

Find a new treatment.

Dat darn drumph. It all dat drumph fault. Nothing to do with the msm spending months destroying Walker, or the unproven accusations lobbed at him.

Correct. Trump simply initially occupied the political space between a large swath of Americans (that cuts across political boundaries) and DC.

He probably hasn’t done a good job of maintaining that space. But it was his initial success. DeSantis’ success will depend on his ability to find that same space.

I disagree.

He became worse than the disease after we put him in office.

To embrace him now makes no sense for he will not win again. This election has strengthened my resolve.
