Yeah, you can go to cash. Why lose it in the market and take the inflation hit?? I'd rather just take the inflation hit only.

Into the market and illiquid income-producing avenues.

Depends on your age.

If you're young enough that's not a good idea. You have to remember things are going down but your allotments are still buying and buying them cheaper. You can't really time the market. If you are young enough just keep buying and waiting.

Just pick well. Energy is probably the only thing that'll make shite this year.

I tried to time the market years ago and let 80k cash vaporize. If had had that to turn around now I'd be up 8 times what i am. I walked away with 10k profit instead of 80k profit.

I'd have 260k cash instead of 40k I have in now.

Can't time it.

Unfortunately, gotta let it drop. And get so bad the prog white women can't afford Starbucks, hair and nail appointments, or gas for their SUV. Before they wake up. When they have to eliminate luxuries to pay a light bill eat, they will change.

Sounds like a good opportunity to make some money, if everything goes on sale like that

In the safe. Right next to all those things I've lost in unfortunate marine mishaps.

The accompanying depression that some predict could turn out to be problematic

Xiden would never allow that to be said, would he?

It would be cool if could go up through December and crash in January so I can actually put money in my 401k during the fire sale.

I don’t have a lot in the stock market other then a small amount in my 401K. If I had a lot I would pull it and buy property when it crashes too .

The markets will remain placid until the elections, then all heck will break lose. I believe the markets will drop like a rock afterwards, regardless of which party comes out on top.

You can sell your positions and leave cash in mm or buy bonds without any of that, as long as you do it within your IRA/401(k)

Just hedge funds prepping retailers for the next round of naked short attacks. You see, if people would just allow them to take illegal loans through naked shorting, we could all get along

There's so much blindly wrong here I don't know where to begin. The market is down almost 16% since the beginning of the year, it's going to get worse after the Fed announces the anything more than a .5 increase this week (.75 is expected, .5 would actually make the market bounce up a little, a full point is may well cause enough of a selloff that day to trigger a circuit breaker).
