Earnings haircuts, over hiring and inventory write downs are not priced into anything yet. That typically takes a year for equity investors to care. The market was only down like 20% off ATHs when Legman declared BK. It didn’t bottomdid another 6 months if I remember right. This is similar it’s another global dollar shortage and that virus hasn’t spread enough yet apparently.

I have cash sitting in an account drawing interest right now, waiting for the market to tank further so I can buy near the bottom.

I've missed two "bottoms" before because I could never gauge where the bottom actually was, so I'm just steady buying on the way down this time.

We’ve never seen the level of money printing that we have right now. You can’t use historical references because this is unprecedented. The dollar is not guaranteed to go up.

The frustrating thing is articles like this create the drop by instilling fear and people sell.

Regardless of the economic conditions, everyone could simply not sell, and it wouldn’t drop.

You might can stash in money markets.

They'll lose but maybe only 6-7% vs 25%...

It may depend on the funds.

My IRA funds are doing terrible. Of the new money invested between my employer and myself since January 1st, I am down by half.

Much like sex, my pull out game sucks in the market.

I was considering a massive withdrawal (I know it creates a taxable event and penalty) in late July when the market was not as down.
