You could be right, and probably are.
I’ll admit my point had less to do with this particular issue than my overall distrust of any media outlet that has a fairly clear tack they take. If their coverage is always “pro-X” or “anti-X”, I just don’t take them seriously.

If there is any truth to that statement below regarding the lag in testing, then this needs to be blasted all over social media.

They can't. The test have never been very accurate. They have improved but still quite a significant false positive and false negative rate.
Throw on top of this the reporting of "death with" instead of "death from" covid and it is bad. Then throw in all the fraud so hospitals could get more gov't money. Then on top of that throw in the same person getting tested more than once and each positive being counted as a different person... then throw on top the cooking of the books (ie Florida), then throw in the people that tested positive without ever actually taking the test and it all adds up to we will not have any true number to look at that are legit enough to have any confidence in them.

There was a time when Fox news would report on this sort of thing. Nothing on their website that I could find. I guess when they’re pretty much forced they will, like CNN.
