I'd rather eat this random dude's beans than the canned beans that comes from govt-certified corporate factories.

Why is Trumps FDA attacking this man as you suggest?

Bootleg pickles have been an issue for decades. My grandma made them and distributed them out the back door of her kitchen.

and this guy was GROWING pickles?

I feel like there is a step missing in there somewhere.

They were trying to get people to register their private gardens under Uncle Joe. A registry of sorts.

Gotcha. I got distracted by the mao and Stalin image you posted. My apologies.

Makes one fear what an AOC led FDA would emulate.

Missouri is an odd state. Has a create foundational mindset, but at the same time they have made some decisions lately that can destroy the state. It could eventually turn into an lefty Illinois like state.

Legal Abortion, weed, gambling aren't positives for a stable society.

I was shocked to learn they passed legal weed.

The St. Louis area and KC dominate politics though based on population.

And Columbia.

Let the states deal with this, we 50 of them.
There are trade offs, pro and con, with government involvement. Keep this type of thing local from the State level down as it seems to be with his situation. His beef isn't with the Facebook reporting, it's with his state.

It is the leadership, not the people. Missouri has some of the finest folks in America.
Unfortunately, they keep getting hoodwinked by the people they are electing to serve.

They were banning the sale of garden seeds in some blue states during covid….. complete, baseless insanity

Let me guess, in Missouri a kid can choose to take hormones but an adult can't choose to pay to eat home-grown food.

The easy fix?

You're selling jars and cans *ONLY*. And, as a thank you to your customers, every jar and can sell gets *FREE* homegrown produce given away with it.

Your customers are buying the jars and cans only. Zero food is being sold.

They have screwed with the soil so much with what they are spraying into the atmosphere a lot of the old seeds reportedly don't work as well as they used to and some don't work at all.

We always had about a 1/2 an acre garden when I was growing up and my dad always kept a lot of his own seeds for the next season.

You guys realize the Founding Fathers grew weed and used it for a lot of things?

Eventually only genetically altered seeds controlled by the gov't will work.

No joke, he'll be selling more than he can handle now, under the radar.

The greatest joke I heard was "make certain we have insurance, in case people get sick".

This statement warmed SFP's heart - and is the mark of our society today.... thank god we won't be hearing from him today though.
