So, it's actually called Crunchy corn. That's great, I just went looking for recipes, I will have some reading tonight.
It was many, many years ago, the last time that I was down your way. I may have been 10 or 11 at the time. It wouldn't surprise me if things have changed in regards to the rest stops.
Still a great, beautiful area of our state, enjoy.

I’ve also heard it called crispy or crisp corn. Mammaw used to make it. I’ll ask mom how she did it. I did a quick google and found some recipes. Could spice it up by using Tony’s instead of salt…
