But wasn't he at or just nearby the Capital? Something doesn't sound right. The whole story, or only part of it. But he did get to the Capital. How did he get nearby the Capital?

He was at the ellipse. Not saying the story is true, but it allegedly took place right after his speech and before the demonstrations at the Capitol got serious.

They are not saying he wanted to go to the Capitol to stop the protesting. They are saying he wanted to be there with them just like he claimed in his Speech.

Thats why he was allegedly upset. He wanted to go to the Capitol and the SS said "no, too dangerous".

There is a little more to the story, butit is Donald Trump so by default its fake news. He is a great guy.

If I was a member of Secret Service and his fat arse tried to lunge at me while I was driving, I would want to knock the piss out of that fat arse. But I would have a one on one with him and make sure he never does that shite again because he was just doing his job. He could have caused a wreck and that would have been the secret service's arse on the line.

yep and he did it by going through a bullet proof glass shield separating the passenger compartment so he must be part mutant to go through solid walls to do it

this is worse then the one who said trump grabbed her crotch by reaching under the armrest on a plane that had armrests made of solid steel and had no opening to make it even possible to do that
