Anyone who has devolved into a state of pure nihilism or unapologetic criminality is unlikely to truly be helped by the prominent channels of mental health care in this country. We have to do something to keep these kinds of people from easily being able to commit atrocities.
Investing funds in mental health care could solve some of the issues, just as some forms of increased background checks could (however unlikely). But these are not fool proof measures.
It is truly up to us, as members of this society, to do something to deter these measures from even being necessary.
1. If you have a kid, raise them to be an empathetic person who knows they are cared for unconditionally.
2. Support your kid if they are being bullied. Likewise, hand down consequences if your kid is the bully.
3. Don't let overexposure to social media warp your child's brain to be a hateful person.
4. Be a good example that your child idolizes.

The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart. Period. This minion of Satan's heart was pure evil. And that evil manifested itself through guns and bullets this time. But make no mistake, if that minion didn't have access to guns, his evil would have manifested itself through bombs, knives, an ax, an ice pick, chainsaw...whatever he could get his hands on. You can take away every weapon you want, but the evil and wicked heart will still find a way.

Wow, what a strange rant. I would guess that the “vast majority” of OT posters are of above average intelligence and actually produce much more than the average American. As far as bad diets, which I think you’re implying, that’s all but irrelevant.
