This is true... but nations with decent demographics maintain a fairly steady age range. For example, in the US, by 2050, the median age is only expected to rise to between 40 and 41. And it may actually drop for a period of time as the baby boomers begin to die in large numbers.
MANY countries are in rough shape, demographically. South Korea, for example, is even worse off than China.
At least AI will be around by 2050 to either take care of all the elderly people for us, or just kill us off. Either way it should solve the problem.

China's demographic problem is being solved by coronavirus and future viruses to come. It's a targeted attack against their elderly. Same reason why they put the infected in nursing homes in the US. It's eugenics all over again.
