Sorry, not sorry, but I can't help "pointing out" the well known fact that you should never look or stare directly into the eyes of a Baboon, Ape, Gorilla. It can be lethal as it provokes/drives them into violent rages, fits.

What Sofie did by Pointing (directing attention, singling out) was tantamount to staring @ a Baboon.

I'm wondering if ownership could quietly add just a few more white girls, and a few less black ones, and become the WNBA version of the old Boston Celtics? Their popularity has been growing with Clark joining, and Cunningham standing up.

Most animals.do. They consider it threatening. Primates particularly.

From Google AI: Pointing your finger at a monkey or ape can be risky. In the wild or at a zoo, primates often perceive pointing as aggressive, threatening, or similar to a staring contest. It can easily agitate the animal, cause them to become defensive, or provoke them into charging against their enclosure.

Sophie hasn't come out and declared herself a Trump supporter but her mom is hella MAGA.

She comes from exceptional stock, we’re friends with her mom, Paula, who is in the MU sports hall of fame as both a BB player & track. Her dad played football at MU. Her aunt, Paula’s little sister is my age and was a smoke show and a hell of a baller for MU as well.

If you want to truly know who Sophie Cunningham is at heart watch this, just a Mid-Missouri farm girl and her arse. Was shot on the family farm in Callaway county and yes, they have donkeys.

When she leaves the WNBA, she needs to write a tell all book about her experiences.

Oh, don’t forget, lots of spicy Sophie pics.

Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham have the top two selling WNBA jerseys. The two make up 71% of the WNBA’s jersey sales.

While that’s a pretty cool thing, I have to assume that’s like a baker’s dozen jerseys give or take?

I don't know that they have the testicular fortitude to do that because if the headline I saw is correct, the ownership came out in defense of the thug-arse bitch who took the cheap shot at Clark in the first place.

In the video she first claps her hands. Catlain Clark got a technical for clapping.

Caitlin has the second highest selling jersey since 2024, behind Steph and ahead of LeBron.

Maybe jersey sales are just way down.

If this is true, Clark needs to jump ship asap to another team. Take Cunningham with her if possible.

I bet they'd sell even more Jerseys than they do now. I read that Clark and Sophie Cunningham account for 71% of all WNBA jersey sales.

Clarification - a deeper dive in the matter shows that the Fever president said the backlash against the suspended player who assaulted Clark was "unacceptable".

But the way she is abused and the abusers get away with it, she needs to accept that European offer and watch the WNBA crash back into nothingness.

Or are they treating Clark that way to stay relevant?

If Clark got drafted and dominated the league, it would have captured headlines for a few months at most. Let Clark be “unfairly” mistreated and you have a 10+ page thread on a college sports site 3 years into her pro career.

Bad management or genius marketing?

They don’t like any pushback on their BS because they have been getting away with it for so long.

Time for society to start pushing back.

If the league is that reckless and incompetent to think this sort of abuse & chronic neglect by refs is going to net them more of an audience and greater ad revenue, drop the pretense completely.

The WNBA is just 21st century roller derby, nothing more.
