I blame Arbery. And I blame the crackers. And I don't really give a shite about any of them.

ETA: I'm more interested in what I'm having for lunch today.

I’m not blaming him, and he didn’t deserve killin’, but, I hope the poli talk attorney crowd (real & freelance) realize Bubba Roy Sr & Bubba Roy Jr may walk pursuant to a jury verdict.

My biggest issue is how they search out these cases and make them national news to push the “all whites”, “the south” or “all repliblicans” are racist. 15K+ murders occur in this country annually but we only hear about ones like this to anger blacks across the USA

And believe it... They have to HUNT for those cases...

This wouldn't have been more than a 5 minute segment on local news if the police weren't told to stand down after they believed they had probable cause to arrest.

An arrest was made in less than 48 hours once the locals without a connection to the suspects reviewed the evidence. If the justice system worked as it was supposed to from the beginning, this doesn't make national news.

Typically the ones promoted are where the shooters are knowingly innocent too. (Wilson, Zimmerman, looks more and more like this one)

People said this about the Trayvon case too FWIW. Can we just let the actual facts of what happened come out before we decide who is guilty of what?

There is no situation where pursuing in a truck with weapons would be legally justified. None at all. They lost all credibility the minute they engaged in armed pursuit. There was no imminent threat to their lives when the fatal portion of this occurred.

We all get it. He probably was not a choir boy.

Trying to deflect from the idiocy of the two shooters just adds fuel to the fire.

There is no defending their actions, and even hinting at that is just stupid.

So you were there and saw it all? Of course you weren't. You are just as stupid as you say others are for their actions.

People are feeling defensive because the immediate reaction was that black people cant exercise in the US because white people will hunt them. That is bullshite and the story is bullshite.

Truth is the guy pissed off some morons that deserve to go to jail or even die themselves. Shouldn’t have ever been a national story.

While we can't be sure of it's applicability in this case, what you're in effect saying is that citizens have no role in the protection of life, liberty or property. Ours is to be passive and to depend entirely on law enforcement for that defense.

Tell you what. Given the video, paint a scenario for us that justifies the actions of the two guys.

One fact that is going to be hard to ignore is that a man is dead at the hands of two others and it could have been avoided if not for those men deciding to pick up fire arms and go after someone they perceived as breaking the law.

Just like the Trayvan Martin case and not at all like the Micheal Brown or Alton Sterling cases.

Sounds like you’re predicting not guilty and going to be mad about it.

I don’t get it AT. ALL.

If the guy wasn’t physically threatening them, or breaking into a house that they themselves were occupying, all of it boils down to that these guys didn’t like a black dude in their neighborhood bc he was a black dude.

That is just awful and gross in the extreme and indefensible. We’re all flawed. And there’s no way to know who’s the most flawed just by looking at them.

I hope these guys are legit made examples of, and become cautionary tales. We have a right to keep and bear arms, and that assumes we use that right responsibly.

These thugs who shot Arbery are the exception, not the rule. They allowed their gut check impression of someone who did them no wrong and shot him for no reason. frick them. They should be dealt with accordingly, and may God have mercy on their souls.

I think it became a national story because the first DA did nothing.
If he had a proper investigation and was transparent then it probably wouldn’t be as big of a deal.

But I'm sure you've gone through this before with Trayvon and Michael Brown.

She. But she probably had to recuse herself immediately. The second DA dropped the ball spectacularly.

It's certainly hard to conceive of a legal scenario that would support those actions, but I've been surprised before.

Problem is, none of us will ever know all the evidence. Even after a trial.

But I agree that if the law does support that action, it shouldn't.

And they were right

Killing people in the street vs defending your home is how gun rights get lost

The shooters are retarded regardless of facts
