You can't be a Christian and be for Bernie. Just like you can't be a little bit pregnant.

Progressives mock and spit on Christianity. Jesus did not say "use the government to take care of your neighbor". The point of the teaching is to be giving, not to make a government tell you to give.

As a Christian, myself, this type of ignorance is what bothers me the most, and is what all Christians must fight against.
This idea that being successful is somehow evil, is baseless. Greed is hoarding fortune, and being unwilling to help others. Trump stepped away from his business empire to take on the entire establishment, and has put up with unprecedented levels of attacks, because he cares about this country. He had nothing to gain, personally, by being President. Not when his plan was to take on, and take out, the very beast that has fed the corruption in politics. Any Christian who fails to recognize this fact is extremely ignorant.
And the idea that we have to "love and accept everyone as they are" comes straight from the left, and is not Biblical. God said that we are to love everyone, including our enemies. He did NOT say, however, that we should love their sin and accept their lifestyle as it is. Refusing to call out sin for what it is, so as not to offend anyone, is not love. It is the opposite of love. Would you tell your drug addicted loved one that he's fine just as he is, knowing he's killing himself? If not, then why would you not tell your friend that his or her homosexuality will lead them to eternal hell, if they don't repent?
And back to Bernie, how could any Christian be so ignorant as to believe that robbing the rich to pay the poor, is Christ's model of taking care of the poor? Giving from your heart whatever you can, is love. Taking money from someone to give it to another is no better than stealing. And worst of all, it is not sustainable. It destroys the economy, takes away incentive which, in turn, severely diminishes quality of products and services, and brings an overall sense of hopelessness.
This sanctimony coming from certain Christians shows a gross misrepresentation of scripture, a total ignorance of economics, and is very dangerous if left unchecked. We need to pray for these people as we also refute their claims. They don't have any idea how far they're missing the mark.

Couldn’t agree more! Being Christian and living in the image of Jesus is helping the less fortunate, being kind and good to each other; not exploiting others to gain as money as one can in our lives here one earth! Go Bernie!!! ????
Seems like a common theme, they forget Bernie has made himself a multi millionaire...but suggest that isn’t for the rest of us.

A real Christian would never vote Democrat.
God doesn't support abortion.

I must have missed the part of the bible that states give your wealth unto Cesar so that He may distribute it as he sees fit in exchange for votes

These sad people think government welfare is equivalent to voluntary charity.

There's no shortage of fools in this country. Not surprising that some think they are Christians.

It's funny because I'm not Christian but have read the Bible front to back and, there is simply NO READING WHATSOEVER that would make one think that the point of Jesus' teachings was for you to go forth and force your neighbor to help people. That a demonstration of "caring" was what you did in the voting booth every 4 years.
It would take the reading comprehension of a 2nd grader to get that from the Gospel.

It’s either Christians, Russians, or liars. Impossible to tell which. But my bet isn’t in the first one.

exactly
charity comes from your own heart,
not from your neighbor's checkbook

Jesus wasn’t around to see the handy work of Stalin and Mao.
These Christians are ultimately voting for their poor comrades to end up being processed at the end of the rail line.

I make no bones about Trump being a Christian, I don’t think he is, but that’s between him and the Lord. He has a couple of views that dont line up with my view of the Bible.
On the other hand...
Weaponized envy isn’t very Christian. Sewing discord along race/gender/class lines isn’t very Christian. Abortion on demand isn’t very Christian.

Jesus did say all that. But he didn’t say it to a government. He said it to his followers. So as a Christian you should do what Jesus said. You should not expect the government to do it for you
