Yea- first thought was if he ever spoke it before (or not) it’d be in the file
So JD saying he hasn’t heard and and nailing down the story slightly seemed strategic and smart on his feet
If the China story was followed by that being made up I think that could really sway voters. Then you start to have to cover McDonald’s, pork roast, being active duty, being a head coach plus China and witnessing a shooting.
If it’s not documented as true relatively quickly - I think it’s a not inconsequential moment

Hope it didn’t happen but would not surprise me if his son was in the same town in a gym playing volleyball when a shooting occurred at a gas station.

Walz definitely embellished the story about his son “witness[ing]” the shooting since it happened outside of the rec center unless the volleyball court has windows.

I don't know why I am getting down voted. All I did was post a story that it actually happened. I was kind of surprised.
As far as Walz kid being there, no mention of it in the article. Seems like the governors son being there would be a talking point
