I point to the unevenness as the glorious reason why economics works.........LONG term.
So something that fundamentally and demonstrably works quite well is now subject to be majorly fricked up for how long? How long is long term? 5 years 10? 20?
It's a crock.

Quite well is always a relative term.

You're one of those people who thinks that when gas prices spike, it's proof of oil companies gouging Americans but when they fall, it's just normal and the companies had nothing to do with it........aren't you.

Is it me or does the net neutrality bunch line up a lot like the free shite crowd?
Always wanting government intervening so they can have free or cheap stuff.

A bit.
Their real problem is that they don't understand economics. I mean, they REALLLLLLLLLY don't understand economics.
So, when they think of bad things that "could" happen, that's where their thinking stops.
Like if Comcast throttled Netflix, that's just that. End of story. Forever.
LOL. That ain't how that shite is going to go down at ALL!
And Comcast doesn't give a rat's frick about what we are doing over here on TD.

First...it's 4chan dude, I mean, come on...
Second, the second anyone tells you an ISP needs a broadcast license, just turn around and run.

Wait. Wut? LOL.
Mmkay. Price won't be part of the equation.
ETA - you probably need to get with your sky screamer crowd and get on the same sheet of music cause they absolutely think price is going to come in to play

won't. Because I understand how things work economically. Liberals point to unevenness in human results(short term) in economics and try to "fix' them with centralized control. I point to the unevenness as the glorious reason why economics works.........LONG term.
All you did is give full control of everything to a middle man, that’s not some glorious long term economic plan.

This is pretty parallel to the argument that fake news doesnt exist.

If people genuinely think comcast is going to have "full control" of companies with values of 7-10 times theirs, then I really can't help them grasp what will go down here.

Who is more likely to block this site?
Comcast trying to make a buck or a far left SJW/pussyhat/metoo/whitey is the devil radical left government?
That is the only relevant question to the entire NN issue.

considering Comcast and our government are in bed together, I'd say they are one in the same

How does Google or Twitter throttle this website?

No, they will extract their rent and the consumer will pay more. These big companies like Google and Netflix will work out deals with the ISP's and can afford it. It's the startups that can't afford to give Comcast the bribe that will never get off the ground.
How is this economically helpful for us as a huge percent of our economy is built around the internet in one way or the other?

When Comcast is the one with the power to block certain sites I can absolutely see sjw's protesting them saying "why are you allowing Breitbart who advocates hate to exist on your network?" and they'll win. Domain registry's have already moved into blacklisting certain sites, now that the ISP's are able to you think they won't?
