Yes, there was a video still of the gun in his hand. He was resisting when they were attempting to disarm him.

All the complaints are just semantics. Good people don’t obstruct or interfere with LEO conducting lawful business.
As someone has pointed out, why are we not seeing this is all 50 States? Tim Walz knows why.

but in general, a subject resisting arrest while armed is extremely life-threatening to the officers involved, and it doesn’t take much for an officer to reasonably believe that they are in imminent threat of serious bodily harm or death.
