I used to think they didn't mean to be hypocritical, but not anymore. I actually think they really intentionally try to force these double standards just for the pleasure of pissing people off and saying "so what are you gonna do about it?"

The dress is tacky as hell and it is no surprise that the designer owes money to the IRS. Democrats have two sets of standards - one for Republicans and one for themselves. The hypocrisy is nauseating.

I’m sure it was the ppp loan and that went through a bank and forgiven through the bank. I don’t know if any of the loans went through the irs at all.

Thousands upon thousands of businesses got PPP loans as a precaution but didn’t end up having to use them. It was basically a whole life insurance policy against having to let any employees go. If you were able to keep your staff, there was a good chance you got your loans forgiven.

The Libs will support her fashion business overwhelmingly and she will be deemed a fashion icon, getting the favorable treatment from the MSM. Will probably make the talk show circuit and be the hit new thing.. Much like the model they made out of Kamala’s step daughter. The opposite of cancel culture, i guess they can make you famous if they choose. And like Stacy Abrams, her tax debt woes will be all over.

It’s a different kind of tax woes. She’s not paying all the payroll taxes for her employees. So she’s not paying SS etc withholdings. If all employees did that, there would be no social security safety net for wage slaves that she and AOC want to exploit.
