Operation warp speed was when I was finished with trump the fact that his name is on it doesn’t make anyone more likely to go and take it. You’re a lemming though so you think that we all are

His followers must have spent too much time listening to liberals warn others to "reject a rushed/faulty Trump vaccine" back in the fall... before the election of course.

People were more self sufficient back then. Not going to work was really not an option. Die from small pox or starvation.

There was a vaccine for smallpox by then. The smallpox vaccine was invented by 1800.

There was no animal reservoir for smallpox, so the premise that Corona can be eradicated in a similar fashion is asinine and a testament to your very low IQ

But we care more now, and that's what REALLY matters!!

George Washington himself insisted on inoculating his troops, even when it was pretty novel. It was one reason we won the damned war. And you can bet your arse he didn't ask them or give them a choice. I guess now GW would be a freedom hating soi boi.

So I should just be ok with forced vaccinations because George Washington did it?

Thebes won a war by having a band of gay lovers. I wouldn't recommend forcing the public to do something just because it worked in a war once.

I wouldn't say smallpox is a good comparison because, as mentioned, there was inoculations for it dating back centuries, it's nowhere near as transmissible and yet:

1. There were still forced vaccinations. Jacobson v Mass: LINK

2. There were also shutdowns. LINK

You could also look at influenza in 1918, a far more comparable virus in terms of transmissibility. LINK

In both cases there were shutdowns, mask mandates, forced vaccination and widespread quarantine.

I don't think that's the point. You can strongly oppose it while accepting that smallpox was indeed already cured and there were indeed comparable state actions.

Smallpox was carried through humans only . The corona virus is carried through animals and humans . That is why any vaccine will never eradicate the virus completely.

Smallpox vaccination dates to the 1700's. By "cure" you are referring to elimination of any infection on the planet? Is that the standard?

Small pox was still being used as a biological weapon, until around the 1880s, so there were always small outbreaks happening in different areas. Sound familiar?

I don’t think it’s a question of being afraid to take the jab as sheep would do as a herd walking into a slaughter but smarter enough to see the issues with them and deciding what to do on their own

There were over 1,000 cases of smallpox in the US as late as 1940, but the smallpox vaccine was available and was widely employed. In fact, the smallpox vaccine had been available since 1798!

That’s how the left thinks every issue for them is a cult of personality. Well Trump said it so you should do it. Well why did they take it then if you hate trump lol???

America averaged about 50 smallpox deaths a year before the vaccine campaign came out in the 60s

Only 50 deaths a year and yet Americans lined up and took the vaccine that was far more dangerous than the current vaccine. Not sure what OPs point was
