It was perfectly fine until she started singing. And the tone of his guitar is off for the song. Schecter strat copy vs. Les Paul. Slash is best played on a Gibson.

Oh good God. Who cares? Nobody is claiming they're frickin GnR. It's a good song selection and they covered it well.

Nah, I wasn't impressed at all. They don't get graded on a curve for being military. That shite was karaoke, like Great Value American Idol.

If you're not playing a handmade Les Paul with Alnico Humbucker pickups through a Marshall Silver Jubilee amp it just doesn't sound like Slash!

No frickin shite?

What did you do in the Air Force, dad?

Shredded on a Strat.

He melted faces.

Not with white phosphorus but with his guitar.

If they had had the gear to replicate Slash's tone he would have complained that the tonal quality wasn't right for the next song on their set list that requires different gear.

The living embodiment of the ackchually meme.

Some people don't have the appreciation for the talent. It is incredibility easy to play an instrument poorly, in a shitty band doing a shitty song.

However, most folks don't realize that it is pretty hard to play an instrument well. It's pretty hard to play with other people in a band successfully . And it extremely difficult to play well in a live show setting.

They did great but I am biased because a former co-workers dad was the Director of the Marine Band for many, many years so I do appreciate what they did.

he needs a better lead singer, but overall that’s amazing.

I think she did fine. It is the sound mix that is all over the place.

You're reading too much into this and trying too hard. I thought it sounded lousy. Get over it.

Sweet Child O Mine is not a particularly hard song to play, but getting the right sound from the guitar is the greater challenge. I'm not really up on guitars anymore, but an old buddy of mine wh is had said a while back that he thought Schecter had stepped up their game

I’m pretty sure those guys played at our town concert series a few years ago, and they were great! They played a little bit of everything from pop to bluegrass.

Honestly surprised he captured the proper tone on a Strat. I've only ever been able nail the sound on an Ibanez with EMGs or a Les Paul.

Excellent song selection too. Peak G'n'R was peak America.

Had a hum bucker in the bridge. I don't think that was a Fender Strat, looked like some custom build Strat type guitar.
