Had a hum bucker in the bridge. I don't think that was a Fender Strat, looked like some custom build Strat type guitar.

Government issue?

Lol....doubt it. I could probably go back and watch the vid and get a better look at the headstock insignia and identify the brand/luthier.

I also came to ID the guitar as a Suhr, not a Schecter.

Oh good God. Who cares? Nobody is claiming they're frickin GnR. It's a good song selection and they covered it well.

Guitar players do. He's right... the tone is completely off for the song.

Shredded on a Schecter....but it does look close to a Strat or Tele.

I caught that after I posted about it being a Strat. I'll not edit though because I still stand impressed.

Yes, leave it. "Strat" has become shorthand for any Stratocaster style guitar (which Fender is fighting now, but like "Kleenex", I think that train has left the station, long after their patents expired).

But yep, good tone for the song.

but Axl, Duff and Slash CANNOT be replicated.

Except that GnR (with Izzy and Adler) is way better than so-called GnR with Gilby Clarke (or Paul Tobias/Richard Fortus whothefrickever) and Matt Effing Sorum.

#Sotheresthat

Any primadonna could have fronted Slash, Izzy, Duff and Adler. Literally anyone.

Most retarded riff ever. Sounds like a caliope screwing a pinball machine.

It's because it was a practice exercise that Slash was doing to warm up and Axl liked it and wanted to use it in a song.
