If it isn't say... 20 degrees or below... there's no reason whatsoever to wear a ski mask, unless one is up to no good.

It’s not a fashion statement. They wear them to cover their faces while committing crimes. 99.9% of shoplifting the criminal is wearing a face mask to conceal their identity. Go into any store with pictures up of known shoplifters, they all wear masks. It’s not a coincidence that since covid theft is up 1,000,000,000%. If owned a business I would have a no-mask policy unless proof of compromised immune system.
