You may be fine with this kind of shite happening where you went to school and where you made a home- I am not. And there is no language too hyperbolic for how pissed off I am

Hyperbole is one of the primary ways liberals lose credibility on various topics. It honestly happens on both sides of the aisle. Don’t fall into the trap.

Do you and Wednesday understand satire? Blaming non-players is not satire.

This was not some anomalous crime. The Mayor of the city with one of the nation’s highest murder rates in the nation (and by extension, the President of a University located in that city) is indeed a player in this violent drama whether they like it or not.

Blaming non-players is not satire. It’s stupid. Or it’s mental illness.

And you are retarded! See how that works?

Now, do you want to trade insults or have a discussion? I’m game for either!

Tate had nothing to do with this, so why are you blaming him?

Tate's paper on CRT from 1995

“Instead, we align our scholarship and activism with the philosophy of Marcus Garvey, who believed the black man was universally oppressed on racial grounds, and that any program of emancipation would have to be built around the question of race first.”

So Tate is an “academic” whose first priority is race agitation?

Shocked. SHOCKED! I say.

And mocking satire is one of the primary ways in which the failures of the prog agenda is exposed.

You've already arse-umed Wednesday's only motivation is because she's a racist. It's a little too late for you to crawfish away from that now.

By extension, the President of a University is responsible for a brutal off campus murder?

No, you are clearly incapable of having a discussion on this topic, if the type of reasoning you’ve displayed is even an arrow in your quiver. Sorry I cannot have conversations with people more prone to hysterics. It would be like thinking I could talk a schizophrenic homeless person into not being homeless.

This murder occurred 2-3 miles from LSU campus, near bars and restaurants frequented by college kids and other young adults.

The President of University is not responsible for every crime that happens within a 3 mile radius from campus.

This is fricking crazy. Never in my life have I heard of a school President being responsible for such a thing until now.

What’s different about this President? Is it the BLM bullshite? Can we point to that?

I didn’t say he was responsible. Yet as a prog pushing a prog agenda, he certainly is a “player” in this sordid drama. You fricking retard.

This is rich coming from you! You dare call someone out for uncontrollable outbursts?

You are the poster who entered the thread insulting Wednesday with your misogynistic comments. So in addition to being an @sshat, you are a hypocrite to boot!

Help me out here. Misogynistic? Was it the “calm the frick down” statement that you think was misogynistic or insulting?

Or was it the part when I questioned the soundness of her reasoning by calling it either stupid (the reasoning, not the person), or possibly a sign of mental illness (which was phrased as an alternative explanation with a basis in reality)?

My insults were really intended to be directed to you. So if I insulted Wednesday, I apologize.

Wednesday is at least aware that she uses hyperbole as a coping strategy. That wins me over. My wife used to do that too, until she recognized that hyperbole hurts innocent people and gave her less credibility.

I’m more drawn to insulting you as a response to your white knighting strategy. I’m now curious to see how much sadder your effort might become.

Agreed. But he is responsible for the safety of his students. And with crime out of control he should be demanding action and improvement from the city.

If he stays silent, then he bears more responsibility in the future.

Considering he hasn’t even acknowledged the murder, I don’t expect much.

Do you put any boundaries on that? 3 mile radius away from campus? Anywhere in the State? Other States? Students that travel to Mexico? Where do you draw the line?

This is extremely close to that “silence is violence” crap that became popular among unhinged libs over the past few years.

I don’t require people disconnected from fault or blame to make public statement condemning clearly criminal actions. I do expect the mayor and the police department to do their jobs. But I don’t believe my statements will help move things along any better. I used to think this was a sane approach. Now I’m wondering if I’m one of the few sane people left after seeing so many people who used to be rational thinkers now become unhinged.

You are not sane pal. To expect the person who runs the university to express disdain for his students being murdered is normal.

Jiminy crickets! You are such an @sshat there is no doubt in my mind you think your initial comments to Wednesday were not out-of-line.

I am actually honored! I’m here to make friends and if not friends, frenemies!

So if I insulted Wednesday, I apologize.

As well you should. And you should do so directly in a response to Weds. and not in half-@ss way by apologizing to her in a response to me.

Wednesday is at least aware that she uses hyperbole as a coping strategy. That wins me over. My wife used to do that too, until she recognized that hyperbole hurts innocent people and gave her less credibility.

I’m sure your wife was glad for the course correction! You are such a condescending prick! At least you are consistent.

White knighting? Calling you out as the @sshat you are? That hardly was a gallant move on my part as it took precious little effort — I assure you, you did all the heavy lifting in that endeavor!

If some white LSU frat boys were accused of sexually assaulting a black girl in close proximity to LSU’s campus do you think Tate would have reacted more forcefully to that crime? You are such a fricking idiot, I’ll answer the question for you: you damn skippy the reaction would be different.

And the incident would be THE front & center story on most national MSM outlets. There should be no doubt in any rational person’s mind that Tate and the mayor are not being more forceful in addressing this situation because it simply does not fulfill the purposes of an approved prog narrative.

Wednesday is 100% correct that these radicals promoting these progressive agendas are in some way morally responsible for this current state of affairs. Tate has punched his meal-ticket in academia by promoting CRT and is a disingenuous piece of filth by that fact alone.

CRT merely substitutes Marxist class consciousness with manufactured racial grievances. And you are a fricking simpleton for defending the man.
