So capitalism?

More like corruption.

One company (SpaceX) is kicking everyone else's arse, but another company with a track record of failure (Boeing) has deeper pockets with which to bribe politicians.

They better hope that nobody gets stuck on the ISS again. They might have to stay there for a long time because I wouldn’t be surprised if Elon told them to figure it out because he will not go get them again. He could always say that he isn’t going to waste a launch to bail out NASA. Someone is definitely getting their palms greased.

NASA once again delayed the Albatross, I mean Aremtis 2 launch. Its WAAAAY overbudget and way over cost.

Musk is not a pain in the arse for the dems nor a thorn in their side.....he is a pencil to the jugular and they will do anything to destroy him, not get him removed but destroy him the typical dem fashion.

They dont care if it ruins our dominance of space, and thereby our safety, they just want him gone.

What an evil bunch of arseholes.

How about a competitive bid process? If one company gets 100% but saves the tax payers billions then who gives a frick.

Consumers should if they are smart. Antitrust exists for a reason - it’s to prevent monopolies from forming because they will then rape the consumers.

The government has a responsibility to nurture competition, and that precludes awarding anywhere close to 100% to one company.

Sure!!! Let's limit our most successful fricking space program, for what???

As if there's not sooooooooo much more waste, fraud, and abuse to deal with.

Anyone not believing that the people WE elected in Congress aren't actively cooperating to destroy America, is just dumb.

Yeah, it's this joke called Artemis. They better be nice to Elon because that thing is going to leave astronauts stranded just like Boeing did to them last year.

I wonder how many $600 hammers are in the Artemis waste. They should just give NASA to SpaceX as a gift and be done with it.

They don't want to spend OUR money if they can't get kick backs from it.

We need a 100 rope gallows operating around the clock.

Sounds like Congress is trying to rig the system for their next investment strategy.

They will pick the winner and make sure to be heavily invested before their decision is released.

Fcking a$$holes

I bet you don't have to look far to find that the senators pockets are being lined by Rocket Lab, Blue Origin, Boeing and others.

Supplier monopoly or oligopoly isn't good for anyone over the long term other than the monopolistic / oligopolistic supplier.

It is fundamental to public service economics in a capitalist system to ensure a diversified supplier base. Witness how DoD has at least 4 - 5 firms on call that bid on most major contracts. Witness how the pharma grant system for basic research works. On and on and on.

I frankly don't care if Boeing or Blue Origin are donating to PACS - has SpaceX not done the same?
