Seems the SCOTUS may have just signaled to Trump what he needs to do

The SCOTUS just told Trump 2.0 if he wants to rid the US of tens of millions of illegal immigrants then it's on your back, not the SCOTUS......
The only way you get illegal immigrant birthright children out of the US is by deporting their parents.
We'll see how Trump 2.0 responds to the SCOTUS ruling on birthright citizenship but at a minimum Trump 2.0 needs to ramp up mass deportations by 10x the current rate. If Trump 2.0 doesn't find an effective strategy to rid the US of tens of millions of illegal immigrants through mass deportations, I don't think a lot of prior Trump voters are going to be running to the polls in November.

The SCOTUS failed, plain and simple. Time to go the messier route.

Trump's legacy is stuck in an Iranian quagmire of his own making
Until that's sorted I don't think we'll see meaningful focus anywhere else.

Yep, I do believe you are right.

Or… hear me out… Congress could stop being an enemy of the people and actually pass laws on this to correct it.
We shouldn’t have to rely on judges to give opinions on the intent and language of centuries old documents when we have a legislative body that can pass laws to fit the need of the time.

Just had an OP addressing this yesterday and there have been innumerable OPs over the years speaking on this same subject.
There is without question a huge disconnect between the will of the majority in the US and the will of Congress. Why is that? What and who are our elected members of Congress protecting, looking out for? It sure ain't street level Americans.

How did they fail? Birthright has been a thing for 150 years.

The original intent of birthright citizenship was for emancipated black Americans not just anyone who can jump the border or enter the US and pop a child out. Hell, even American Indians did not get automatic birthright citizenship when the 14A was codified because they were considered under their tribal jurisdictions. It has been the incremental bastardization of the 14A that has allowed upwards of 20 million birthright citizens from non citizens since 1990.

They literally let him end TPS and shut down the border last Thursday. Today's ruling has 0.0% to do with any type of deportation effort.

1) No VISA access into the USA ???? if your pregnant
2) No TSA flights for any foreigner into the USA if pregnant
3) Restrict VISAs from China ???? and Birthright industry countries into the USA for women until they stop abusing our constitutional law to exploit the 14th Amendment adopted for the children of slaves!
Let’s go Trump!!!
Let’s see immediate TSA/DHS pregnancy test screening for all NoN-USA women flying into the USA effective immediately at their expense! Thanks to SCOTUS!!

I am all for this plan, kick the illegals out and their kids. I was born here when my parents were on Green card, so I am happy with the Scotus ruling. I can't even imagine becoming a citizen of the hellhole we came from. There is a reason we haven't visited that place ever!!

It should.
It should incentivize Trump 2.0 to ramp up the administration's mass deportation efforts.

No non-citizen may enter the US if they are pregnant. No exceptions. This is just a start to end the birth tourism.

Isn't it an Amendment? And wouldn't the change require another Amendment along with the messy process of ratifying it?

If you think Iran is going well you can just say that.

Why do people flee from their homelands rather than stepping into the breach and fighting for the nation they want their nation to be. I have never understood the cowardice of the millions of illegals who tuck tail and run from their home country, particularly when many of these illegal have no desire to assimilate into a common and shared American culture. In many cases and in many ways they're replicating the BS they ran away from.
