I told you the Trump Admin could seek out find and deport this guy regardless of what Walz did. And that's exactly what happened and rightfully so. Tim Walz doesn't control Immigration Policy. A single illegal alien present in the interior of the US is 5 too many as far as I'm concerned, so we are in agreement with respect to the quantity that needs to be deported.
The case they are making in this instance appears to be signaling the fact that Walz saved this dude, and that even he is not safe.

The process is to deport a felon is easier.
Giving the pardon created more paperwork, slowing the process down.
And, yes, the admin had to seek him out and find him. After he was granted clemency and released from prison.
He was in prison, and they let him go to make it harder to deport him. A dude that raped a 10 year old. Who showed no remorse for it. Released. Back on the streets until he was apprehended for deportation.

No one in the administration is even talking about the pro-forma sessions that keep Trump from making recess appointments. They are actively fighting his agenda, not just dismissing it.
