This Memorial Day weekend has been the coldest I can ever remember.
Sat the high temp at Pickwick Dam, in TN was 61.
Y-day reached 72 (maybe a degree or so warmer) in Memphis. Today suppose to be around 81.
Whether you agree that climate change is caused by man made activities or not...daily temperature fluctuations is the weather....not the climate.

This is ridiculous logic. Weather is not climate. Arizona’s hottest summer on record was last year as with 4 other states. Look at all the fires in California. By your logic, last year global warming was real, and then on Memorial Day it became fake.

I see a lot of post here that refer to climate change yet my original post did not state anything relate to climate change.
I clearly spoke only to global warming.
That the thing. It always something new with the left.
Hole in the Ozone, impending ice age, global warming and now climate change.
All of these are purely to keep the idiots of the population scared of their impending doom.

The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere has gone up exponentially in the last 100 years. A large amount of it is a specific type of CO2, called delta C thirteen, which only comes from fossil fuels. That type of CO2 has skyrocketed.
CO2 warms the earth. Ask yourself who you want to believe, 97% of all the scientists in the world, or a bunch of working class LSU fans on a message board who think those 97% of scientists are all in on the hoax.

We have historically gotten a countrywide cold front on Memorial Day Weekend.
This year for us it’s an entire week of rain, after going with no precipitation since the snowstorm

The premise is false. Fossil Fuels don't warm the earth. More CO2 is created by plants decaying (like your grass being cut) than fossil fuels.
And CO2 is not the cause of greenhouse effect. It's water vapor. Perhaps we should ban water.
Everything about GW was constructed to promote global govt since the climate is global. The first attempt was at global cooling. That didn't work so they changed it to warming. That didn't work they changed it to 'change.'

I remember being in Nashville back in mid-July of 1990, and the early morning temp was in the 40's. But that was one unusual cold snap in an otherwise torrid summer.
So aberrant instances of weather at any point in time, even now when pollen bombs are going off in the Southeast US, firestorms are raging on the West Coast, and mosquitoes are devouring both man and beast in Greater Houston, can't be conflated with the reality that CO2 levels in the atmosphere are increasing and the planet is warming as a result.
