I really hate to see this guy get taken out by Prostate Cancer. He’s such a brilliant guy and was in very good shape. It’s a hormone driven cancer so there’s just nothing to be done to prevent it.
I’m very high risk for developing it myself. As a matter of fact, I’ll, probably need to have another biopsy in a few months. It’s not fun to say the least. It’s not painful however, the last time I did it, I pissed blood for weeks and it just felt inflamed uncomfortable. It took quite a while to get back to normal.
Old man problems.

I have never met Scott, but his personal/ personable nature on his podcast (which I’ve usually watched on YouTube) make him seem long an old friend. I have stopped watching mostly since his diagnosis because it makes me so sad. This is terrible.

I did MRI and CT scans and blood tests but have heard no diagnosis. Nor do I know when I will hear results or from whom. I only know I need one more MRI because the lower back one revealed no obvious cause.
Internet doctor here, because I watched Scrubs, for 9 seasons, but targeted MRI and bloodwork isn't showing anything obvious? Sounds sketchy to me.

As a non professional who watched House, I can almost guarantee it's not lupus.

Dying is bad enough. Dying from cancer is horrible. Hope he has made peace with his loved ones.

And I doubt he mistakenly took someone's birth control pills.

There isn't! My dad passed from pancreatic cancer a month ago. If they would have gotten the diagnosis right back in April, when he first started noticing something was wrong, he may could have had surgery and chemo. By the time they figured out what was going on, it was too late.

Kaiser Perm might be a death sentence. Bunch of Indian doctors work there. Never ever go there.

No doubt. All that money people give every year and still no real full cure without killing your body.
Hope he continues to improve.

My father died of prostate cancer 17 years after diagnosis, having his prostate removed, and several bouts of chemo. The last couple of years of his life weren't great at all. He went into dementia and it was really sad to watch.
Because of my family history, I had my prostate removed over 10 years ago. Poster child for early detection.
Tomorrow morning I'm going to Bastrop for the funeral of my LSU roommate, who died after a recurrence of bladder cancer. He had a couple of other medical problems which prevented treatment until it was too late. Thankfully he went quickly and painlessly.
I have one last duty to perform for him and that is to present his flag to his widow.

He has missed his show the last two days. I started watching him during covid because I couldn't keep up with the news and felt he was good at condensing it. Continued to watch off and on since then. The last few months I have been making an effort to watch live every time.
So basically have been watching him die. Its happening like most people with cancer you see die. Have a bad day then things are better for a couple weeks. Then have a few bad days and things are better for a week. Then the bad days are more numerous than the good.
I will miss him.

Scott is a good dude - and had a lot to do with getting Trump elected both times. I hate to see him waste away. Losing his voice will be as big of a loss as Charlie
