Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wants the Senate to convene hearings and subpoena the White House regarding a whistleblower complaint about President Trump.
The New York Democrat sent a letter Monday to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell urging the GOP to “take immediate action,” which would probe an allegation that Trump attempted to trade security assistance to Ukraine in exchange for information that could be damaging to leading Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden.
“I write to urge that you and the Senate Republican majority take immediate action to stop President Trump from withholding an Intelligence Community whistleblower complaint that by law must be transmitted to Congress,” Schumer said in the letter to the Kentucky Republican.
Schumer called on the Senate GOP "to begin an investigation into the Administration’s handling of security assistance to Ukraine."
Democrats in both chambers want access to a whistleblower complaint made to the intelligence community inspector general earlier this year that alleges Trump, in a July 25 phone call, made some kind of promise to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky in exchange for Zelensky’s commitment to investigate a corruption charge relating to Biden and his son, Hunter.

Isn’t it not a whistle blower bc the person did not have direct knowledge through work!??! He’s just repeating a rumor heard at work, that does not equal whistle blower. It’s just gossip at our Orwellian intelligence community

The "whistleblower" him/herself already began to crawfish, denying "direct knowledge" of the allegations, therefore making it hearsay.
It's honestly hard to believe exactly how stupid Schumer and the dims are. The only thing that looks to be exposed dealing with Ukraine is the overwhelming evidence of illegal actions by the Biden family and Hussein administration.
This hook was too big and shiny to not notice, but the dumbfricks bit anyway. They just can't help themselves, it seems.

Look at this...
CNN’s Carl Bernstein compares Trump-Ukraine story to Watergate
Will they say "The walls are closing in on Trump" "There is a noose tightening around Trump's neck"
Dan Rather, "There is a hurricane just offshore getting ready to hit Trump"
Crossfire Hurricane backfired.

McConnell says GOP Intelligence chairman wants to hold closed-door briefing on whistleblower complaint
The Senate Intelligence Committee is trying to schedule a briefing for this week on a whistleblower complaint reportedly involving President Trump's action toward Ukraine.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) disclosed during a Senate floor speech on Monday that Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) has been working to get a closed-door meeting on the books for this week.
"Chairman Burr has been working to get the intelligence community's inspector general before the committee this week to discuss the matter," McConnell said.
"The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has long worked on a bipartisan basis in secure settings out of the public spotlight to conduct critically important oversight of classified and sensitive matters, so I've been disappointed to see our colleague, the Democratic leader, choose to politicize the committee's ongoing efforts with respect to a recent whistleblower allegation," McConnell added, referring to Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.).
A GOP aide confirmed that Burr is working to set up a briefing for the panel with the intelligence community's inspector general and acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire.
