When Schumer says shut it down he is only referring to the part of government that we the people can access like national parks. His fricking slimy constituents will still get paid I’m sure of it.

Trump should respond, we will save even more money if Schumer shuts down the government. And BTW Dodge is funded by Elon so it will continue to operate so that we can make many parts of the shutdown permanent.

It's not just ACA, they've used it every year they've held majorities since then as well. Did Schumer just forger about it, or is he confident that enough Republicans will rebel that they won't be able to get a simple majority either. It's probably the latter, and he's probably right.
