US is a. net exporter. Why not just restrict exports to limit pricing. Low risk/low cost for US. UK, Germany, France can go elsewhere or build more windmills and rainbow bridges

I was referring to the user’s comment about high prices under Biden. Trump’s OPEC+ deal (while necessary at the time) slashed production by several million barrels per day. This absolutely had an effect on prices when the economy reopened in early 2021 when Biden assumed office. High demand for oil suddenly and low supply/production and domestic producers especially weren’t eager to reinvest and ramp up production against because of fears of further Covid spikes leading to more shurdowns.

We’ve both been around long enough (79-5/12 years old) to witness the damage that they’ve done. I’m hopeful for a reversal.
