Schmitt Doubles Down on His Lie: Claims Hawks Game was the only NBA game scheduled

There were FIVE other NBA games scheduled that evening. Of course, that's irrelevant. Nothing in the text refers to "an NBA game."
Watch the short clip. Disgusting. Never been so disappointed in a politician I previously admired.

It's not the only narrative. Schmitt did a good job on Office of Public Integrity stuff.
Unfortunately, it's the only narrative that will stick because Schmitt CONTINUES to lie.

Probably like most people here, I thought Jack Smith probably should have been prosecuted. If so, you have to ask why is Trump's DOJ refusing to prosecute him?
Nobody changed their mind about Jack Smith today. I COMPLETELY changed my mind about Senator Schmitt today. I doubt I am alone in that. He was exposed as a shameless liar.
We ALL make mistakes. I had hoped he would own up to this. Instead, he doubled down and lied again.

I have questions about which highlighted draft Senator Schmitt is waving regarding the public integrity subject. Smith clearly stated there were multiple drafts. And Smith flat out told Schmitt his facts were incorrect. All Schmitt did was make implications of perjury and move on to a different topic. Seems if Schmitt really had a silver bullet he would’ve used it instead of moving on.
Schmitt seems like a blow-hard dunce, not that my opinion matters. But I try not to confuse the tough talkers with actual competence.
I also have to remind myself that this kind of behavior is what we see from representatives in both political parties during many of these hearings that are televised and partisan. So I should probably not pile on one Senator too much.

The implication that you’d meet up in person at a professional basketball game to do your secret collusion conspiracy planning is probably the dumbest part of all this
