So basically you made this group up so you have something to talk about.

You need to do a little more reading on this.

Should have gotten 100 years instead of 20.
Biden probably already got bribed to pardon him at the end of his term. Criminal probably rat holed billions in crypto too.

There was no way he was going to get away with it. It was not a terribly complicated scheme. It's off to an extended stay at a Club Fed type facility.

Depends on which way the evidence is running relative to your priors.

Mate, congrats on this win. Good to see you fighting the good fight.

I don’t see how this thread is so long. Anyone thinking SBF was going to get a year has lost touch with reality.

I think he got 25 years because people were sounding the alarm early he might get off because of his donations. They had to throw him under the bus. He shouldn't see freedom ever again just based on Madoff's sentence of 150 years. This way he still has somewhat of a life and it looks like donations didn't buy him favors even though you could argue that they did considering how light 25 years is for what he did.

This creep is 32 years old. He will likely appeal his sentencing. Could get a corrupt obinden judge, get his sentence reduced to 15 years. Get lots of time off his sentence for 'good behavior'. There is the possibility he could be out in less than 10 years.

Don't forget that the slimy obinden dirtbag could issue a pardon the last day of his pathetic, stolen presidency.

The dirtbag was the largest rat political donor only second to creepy soros.

Oh BTW, did anyone mention he also donated millions to that corrupt old crow, mitch mcconnel?

The fool stole from lots of powerful, wealthy people though. Folks are going to be looking for 'payback'. Lots of things can happen in prison. Think about epstein.

If there is something to be gleaned from this other than the well connected powerful get special treatment(which we all know), is that if something is too good to be true, it usually is.

SBF Charges thread (aka NPC fantasy land)

quote:

The timing is interesting if this is the case. I would say the arrest helps protect him and his public image so that he doesn't get exposed before Congress.

quote:

He was about to subpoena'd by congress, but now the DOJ gave him cover to not talk. You are so slow on this whole thing cwill. But thanks for trying to protect your betters.

quote:

This is the "clean up" part of the scam.

quote:

Tax payers get money embezzled to FTX, by Congress funding Ukraine war, Zelenski then buys into FTX, FTX donates 600 million to political “friends”, mainly Dems and Dem pacs….. they are always a step ahead, and enriching themselves, at our expense….

quote:

What about this indictment by the Biden White House is "serious"?

quote:

Do you even understand how indictments work?

Indictment is not a guilty plea, genius. It is an accusation. That is it. What, exactly, do you think happened?

How absolutely crazy is it that Sam Bankman-Fried is going to get away with it.

quote:

And still, what has happened? Ooooh, a scary indictment. I'm sure Friedman is literally shaking over this...

Again, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. The only thing this "indictment" did, was prevent Friedman from speaking before the house, which is going to be run by the Republicans come January. What a coincidence.

quote:

He'll probably be Hillaried before he takes the stand. Look at the past 3 weeks with Crypto owners.

quote:

So, no Republicans would participate and be able to question him, under oath, on public record, which can be admitted as evidence in a case against him?

quote:

So, being interviewed by Congress not gonna happen ?

quote:

could have? Lol. He was arrested to shut him up so he would not say anything stupid in front of a hearing.

muh Congress

quote:

He will get a slap on the wrist for appearances

Etc. etc. Dozens and dozens of threads.

Polish missile attack may well a FTX false flag by Ukraine [update, I was right]

Was SBF arrested to prevent him from testifying before Congress?

The funniest part about re-reading cwill's thread is this post:

Maybe a bit out of proportion, but not unlike the Trump fraud case, a clear message needed to be sent:

There are laws. You're not special. Cut it the frick out.
