They may be responsible for some or all of it.
I just find it funny that a public official runs straight to racism to explain crime rates in a city which is heavily white and Asian and much less black. Almost as if they know exactly who is responsible even if people aren’t saying it.

The race of the perps is of zero importance here; the racism is in your expectation that everyone will abide by the Northern European Christian values related to property ownership, capitalism, etc. It’s racist for people to think that things like theft, restricting one’s ability to homestead on a park, sidewalk, etc., trying to control victimless crimes like the distribution and use of narcotics, etc are bad and do not belong in society.
When someone mentions racism now, the last thing they are referring to most of the time is race.

Activist DA's don't care about crime, they will not deny it, they'll just claim you are racist if you mention it.
Which is very racist on their part, assuming the rise in crime is related to minorities.

Though it is by now far from anything new at this point, it still blows my mind sometimes to comprehend a group of people who at best ignorantly - at worst very intentionally are accomplishing in destroying what was once one of the world’s greatest, most beautiful cities.
It blows my mind even more there is a populace bearing the brunt of living with this every day who by all accounts fail to do anything about this (except in some cases leave) and seemingly support those doing it.
It truly is madness.

My last motorcycle trip in 06 out there I parked my bike to spend an hour or so visiting the grounds around SF side of Golden Gate.
All my stuff was on the bike - computer, meds, handgun etc. Had mild misgivings about the leaving it there out of my sight but did it anyway. Relieved to find it all ok when I got back.
Thought about that a lot in past few years. No way I’d even drive thru that area in my truck these days.

They are not denying a crime surge. The 'fear' is because of racism. By that logic if there is a crime surge caused by white crime no one would be afraid.
