I’ve always been surprised that we haven’t seen any mentally ill leftist try to dress up and act like conservatives and commit one of these crimes just to push the right wing extremist angle.

I don't know about "clearly" but yeah it looks weird. And I agree that I'm more inclined to think this could have legs by virtue of the suicide together.
Andy Ngo is pushing hard against assuming this is true. Which I think is the right move without some sort of evidence beyond an influencer account saying it (regardless of which way I'd ultimately bet). Elon retweeted the Amuse tweet already.
