It's always an overreaction... until it's not. Then what? The people that waited around and believed that things wouldn't be that bad are left hanging out to dry.
Don't assume the best case scenario. At the very least, stock up on staple items. You should be able to survive a few weeks without going to the grocery store.

I don't understand the big deal about toilet paper and bottled water when crap like this happens. You'd think there would be more important stuff to buy, like food that may be imported from other countries, like Rice, canned veggies, beef (Brazil), etc...

Told the wife yesterday morning to run by Costco and grab T.P&P.T..before the loons wiped it out. She text later said it was being delivered..i laughed at her..she got pissed...So I laughed harder when they let her know they were out and it wasn't being delivered
