Unless you are a leftist like that POS tornado fig.
Even if I was a leftist, the guy is an all time great broadcaster with a unique gift of forming a personal relationship with each member of his listening audience. Regardless of his politics, Rush is a special guy who loves the USA.

Just caught the last few sentences - I love the man - Remember the very first time I heard of his name - and it was a few years before I actually heard his program - have been hooked ever since - from shortly before the Dan's Bake Sale.
I was in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk VA when I started listening to him in 1989.

That hit me hard. Lifelong listener going back to summer days listening with my grandparents on their 1st generation Bose radios every day.
I remember first hearing him in 1988 in my truck at Nicholls while on a break between classes. I was hooked. Prayers for him, and his family.

Rush sucks as a media personality, but NO ONE deserves lung cancer.
I swear to god I want to like you, because you occasionally do spout out some intelligent points.
But you don't know a fricking thing if you cannot appreciate the awesome and powerful media personality that Rush IS. frick you.

Joyous news. The spirit will comfort him in his darkest hours and guide him in Gods will. He’s always seemed a decent fellow and though I didn’t always agree with his every word, I did many of them and he spoke them eloquently and entertainingly.

I had a feeling something was wrong.
Yep.
Last week when he was out I had a passing thought...”Rush isn’t usually out like this for this long.”
Then today when he first began talking about what was coming I thought...”What is this? This doesn’t sound good.” Then I thought about how he has been uncharacteristically out recently and thought...”shite, this is going to be bad.” And then he said it.
For a long, long time it was just Rush out there speaking for Middle America. It was just him, a lone voice in the media. We’ve been devoid of politicians that would stand up and say the things we wanted to say and fight for the things we thought were worth fighting for.
He was the voice.

So the the largest audience by far every year. It's not him that sucks, sir.

Rush Limbaugh revolutionized political talk radio. Others have tried to imitate him but no one else has come close.
When I was traveling for work I had a list of all the radio stations in the Ark/La/Miss region that carried Rush's show.
He shortened many a long drive talking to me. And that's what he did. He talked TO ME.

Cigars and I’m guessing cigarettes at some point back when that was kinda the norm.

Not celebrating. Why do your own thoughts turn to such a sick fantasy?
Not celebrating. Just returning in kind the sympathy he has shown to others in the past.

He smokes cigars all the time and he's always mentioning his formerly nicotine stained hands. Lung cancer really shouldn't be a surprise to him.
