He's 69. Sadly the prognosis for those with lung cancer is not good...depending on the severity and whether it is small cell his time is maybe 18 mos

I knew it! I could hear a change in his speech recently that I thought might be related to his smoking cigars. Truth is, his formerly nicotine stained fingers belied the addiction that he never beat.
