Nothing good, but I would also say any three young dudes approach my vehicle late at night I'm not thinking anything good either.
Side note: I never use to lock my drivers side door when traveling/driving anywhere, but lately I find myself doing that alot plus I'm armed. Knife, machete, screwdriver, dartgun, mace, gun? who knows.

Well...we know racism exists...and we should talk about it.
But did the teens not have a car to order their own food? Are these high school students?
How did they get to the whataburger??
There is a perception...that if you had to walk...and you have to ask a person to order for you...none of that at night lends itself to a comfortable situation for a woman by herself...frankly I'd not be super comfortable...and I'd be annoyed i couldn't eat in peace...
Order food for "my teammates" ?

I go to SECN and ESPN to be entertained. I don't need to be lectured to on racism while all I want is live sports. I once enjoyed SEC Nation and Game Day but when they make everything about race, I'm done.

I once had a discussion with a coworker from Michigan (that wasn’t black) about the plight of black folks in general and how they are treated.
I said she didn’t actually understand (I’m a white guy BTW)
She asked “Have you ever been on the receiving end of violence because of the color of your skin”. I answered yes.
Then she said “but you’ve never been harassed by the cops because of the color of your skin”. Wrong, I was pulled over on Christmas Eve by two black cops becaus I was in the “wrong” neighborhood.
She then said “but no one has screamed racial slurs at you”. Wrong… happened in my front yard in NOLA more than once.
Then she topped it off with “No one has ever refused you service because of the color of your skin”. Wrong again. This has happened multiple times and as a matter of fact, happened two weeks ago in Baton Rouge.
At my kids school several years ago the parents had a discussion about race and how the parents were treated. I sat quietly the entire time but realized that I had more examples of being treated badly because of the color of my skin than any black person in the room.
Or the folks that treated me that way were just assholes and treated everyone that way.

You know I guess I should post on social media about the trauma I received as a youth. I grew up playing team sports. I’d say that generally speaking the teams were an equal mix of lantinos, blacks and whites. I got called gringo, cracker or SAW-Bee all the time. I didn’t know I needed to go cry about it and be a victim!
