She really had no defense. When her gun expert inadvertently pointed a gun at the judge and the gallery it didn't help either.

Only way "justice" is served is if Baldwin gets charged with something. Sure I understand where the armorer screwed up but all parties in charge of that weapon that were in possession are at fault.

Now let's put the guy who actually pulled the trigger behind bars.

Agreed.

A lot of people on here will disagree with you though.

They are of the mindset that Baldwin is “too stupid” and doesn’t understand firearms, therefore he shouldn’t face any repercussions.

I loathe Baldwin, but the armorer is there for a reason.

My question WRT her is “Was the gun locked up before the PA brought it to Baldwin? If so, who had the key?”

I ask because the gun was supposedly locked in the safe which she had a key to yet they somehow acquired it without getting it from her.

The armourer brought the live rounds on set and was leaving guns around loosey goosey. Alec Baldwin was just an actor when the accident happened. Stupid for the camera lady to position herself in the line of fire when they were using monitors to view how the scene looked.

Baldwin deserves to be convicted of the same charge.

Blaming the victim. You're a fricking tool.

Stupid for Baldwin to point a gun that he knew was real and on a set where he knew they were firing off live rounds.

But, then you wouldn’t be able to victim blame.

Yeah, I am sure there will be a line of actors lined up to testify that they don't examine the ammo when they get a gun on set. But I am sure you guys have Scott Baio lined up, right?

The sad part is she should never have been put in that job. She only got hired for !Diversity! and was not qualified. Whoever hired her should also be on trial for manslaughter.

When it's all said and done, this case will be a great example of a bifurcated justice system - one branch for the rich and the other for the poor.

Alec Baldwin will not serve time in confinement. At most, IF he's even found guilty, he'll get some sweetheart deal.

Agree. The armorer has to assume that everyone downstream is a freaking moron, especially the actor that'll be using the weapon. They have to know their arse is the one on the line and act accordingly.

They can't all be Keanu Reeves.

I don't know how many times I've been with friends, checking out a bud's new pistol, and every time it changes hands we check to see if it's loaded.. even though we all watched the previous guy do the same thing. I can't help but think that if blanks are involved we would all be dumping the rounds to see if they were live.

Not giving Baldwin a pass, his malfunction excuses just pissed me off. He should do some time too.

She loaded the gun, she brought the loaded gun to the church, she handed the loaded gun to Assistant Directoe David halls after allegedly performing a safety check for him, he handed the gun directly to Alex Baldwin who proceeded to point the gun at someone (outside of protocol) and pulled the trigger (wasn't even a shooting scene).

Just fyi
