Is this war being fought with WWI era equipment and strategies? Is there an Air Force involved? I can’t comprehend why the front lines move inches at time.

What was the name of the oligarch Hunter was tied in with that made the butcher of Baghdad look tame, as he burnt people alive in barrels?

Glenn Beck chalk boarded him.

To me it sounds like Putin has found an excuse to not meet with nor negotiate a peace agreement with Zelensky.

"I can't negotiate with an illegitimate leader like Zelensky. It would be a waste of time."

I wonder why he didn't tell President Trump that when they met in Alaska?

but Trump is about to drop the hammer and it isn't going to be pretty. Putin knows he will do it and he's dicked around one too many times.

Maybe. Trump is in a no win situation here. It’s obvious sanctions won’t deter Russia. It’s obvious neither side will fold. This isn’t an Iran type of situation where we can directly hit Russia due to threat of nuclear escalation. Iran doesn’t have the ability to hit us, Russia does. The American people have no appetite for a conventional war. We can’t afford to keep supplying Ukraine weapons it’s pointless because they lack manpower.

Our options are walk away or boots on ground.

Question is if we chose boots on ground would it call Putins bluff and he back down or is he willing to escalate further and use nukes knowing Russia would also be destroyed?

Trump could privately meet with members of Congress and tell them to hold a vote to declare war. Make a show of it. It may make Putin agree to peace before the vote is held. If not, just make sure there’s enough no votes to shoot it down. Then walk away from it all and say “we tried all options”

Trump will not put boots on the ground. Period.

You do not threaten we unless you intend to follow through. It is not a bluff option.

Again, Trump will not commit US troops. He will amp up trade restrictions goin to 3rd party tariffs.

Bottom line is this war won’t end until Russia says they are done or there is no Ukraine left……

Yes. Russia has never been interested in “peace.” They offer platitudes to appease/divide the West, but with Russia you have to look to their actions. And their actions say they aren’t interested in peace.

This has been Russia stance for a very long term. Russia does not want to sign a peace deal and then have it ruled invalid after the fact. This is not new. Zelenskyy doesn't want elections because he knows he would lose.

This issue could have been solved a year ago or more. But Zelensky refuses. EU is the ones responsible for the war not ending years ago.

Look for: Victoria Nuland, John McCain, Obama, Biden, most of the establishment of both parties, and other USA NGO's, politicos: below... That installed Zelensky:

It is not. She seems to be mistaken that Zelensky was put in power in 2014. He beat that guy in an election in....2019.

If there was a Western coup in 2014, Zelensky is the guy who ended it in 2019. He has nothing to do with Yanukovych pulling the plug on EU integration at the 11th hour, Yanukovych agreeing to a bad/unpopular trade agreement with Russia in its place of EU integration, Maidan, the Ukrainian Parliament taking action against Yanukovych, etc. Nothing.

This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard from Sergei Lavrov.

He lies whenever he speaks, but it’s just become so embarrassing at this point.

The USA needs to laugh in this guys face like other parts of the world do when he spouts his nonsense.

Russia knows the rogue CIA is controlling Ukraine and the actions. No point in dealing with and installed puppet when that’s not who is calling the shots. Find the fricker in the cia that’s running this shite show and drag his arse in front of Putin.

How much more time do you want to spend finding the secret CIA person?

As if that actually matters. Because what would happen next - Putin is going to negotiate a peace deal with the CIA? ROFL.

No. We don’t need more fake/hidden boogeymen to blame in order to hold up the peace process.

This is the brilliant kind of thinking that would keep the war going on forever.

If you’re not a paid Russian troll, then you might as well be.
