fellas...hate to say it, but looks like we'll be in a shooting war with Russia within the next 2 weeks.

I fear this too.

They're now using the "secret WMDs" as an excuse. With China.

We're fricked. And we have an idiot in charge of the military. Backed up by some generals who think Transgenders and Maternity Flight Suits are top priorities.

Volkswagen, here's your favorite dictator at the laying of the foundation stone for the first Volkswagen plant. Bunch of Nazis (real ones).

Apple,

Oh, shite, they'll close some Apple stores, and oh, shite, Apple will turn off service to millions of Russian iPhones and Apple Macbooks. Who cares?

IKEA, shitty furniture. No loss.

Microsoft - like Apple, Microsoft stores gonna' close.

IBM -

When someone needs their IBM consultant to fix something in their custom SAP cloud servers, too fricking bad.

Shell - might hurt. some.

McDonald’s really, keep 'em. ,

Porsche (see Volkswagon),

H&M - I mean, if no shipments of clothing comes in to Russia, who the frick cares?

For the most part, it seems like the one's who'll really be hurt are the consumers in Russia and the owners of buildings collecting the rent plus the service providers in Russia that made their livelihood off of these businesses.

Try not to like anything Putin does. Because in a month or so you may not like anything about him.

Yup. Invading is usually bad for global economic reach. Just act friendly while stealing everything not nailed down.

I'm more concerned with us stealing everything from every wealthy Russian... and justifying it by claiming their wealth is nothing but the ill gotten gains of the poor Russian people. As if we're going to give that shite to the Russian people.

I just wish media would stick to the "it's because they fund Putin" reasoning. And stay away from the "ill gotten gains of the poor Russian people" reasoning. Because the ill gotten gains shite forms a connection in my mind, and I automatically think we're just as bad as the oligarchs. We're taking those ill gotten gains and we will do our own shite with it. The poor Russian people won't see a penny of that money.

China has been doing it for years. And unleashed Covid on the world.

Yet can we hammer China in mass on social media like we can Russia?

Why not?

Russia’s Economic Development Ministry has already sent the Russian government and the Russian Prosecutor-General’s Office a list of 59 foreign companies that may be nationalized after they “announced the termination of work in Russia [in recent days] without providing guarantees to consumers,” the Russian newspaper Izvestia reported on March 10.

This list includes “Volkswagen, Apple, IKEA, Microsoft, IBM, Shell, McDonald’s, Porsche, H&M and others,” according to Izvestia.

This was probably all coordinated anyway.
