You had to expect it.

Tit for tat diplomacy is older than government itself.

We stole the oligarchs' yachts and US firms bailed on Russia. We took their toys and they got billions in assets.

I see the Biden Administration lost at "Let's Make A Deal".

Get ready because it's coming here too. Trump's EOs saw to it. Anyone involved in election interference (think media) will have their assets seized.

That's all? I want to see far, far more to the companies and people involved with election interference and election fraud

No way. These companies are going to get massive write-offs on tax payments. And you can guarantee that Congress will soon sponsor another Bill to pay these companies losses with our tax dollars too.

Win - win for these companies. Just watch.

My question is if Russia will have access to the intellectual property of those companies? Could they in theory use their alliance with China to manufacture exact replicas and sell them within Russia without fear of paying royalties and whatnot.

Over Apple losing assets in Russia?

Same here.

"I am not going to die for those bastards."

They are desperately looking for a William Wallace to rally the peasants who have wizened up to always being cannon fodder for the ruling class.

Hell No we won't go. Not for Apple, not for McDonalds, not for Shell and especially not for the corrupt Biden Admin SOB's getting us into this shite.

So are the woke left #TeamPutin now. This is what they want right? Death to capitalism. Nationalize the means of production?

Thats going to be great for Russia's future when it comes to near zero international investments( besides a few Chinese companies) when they are a pariah state. Most of these companies made a principled stand & it cost them billions. Apple's global revenue is over $365 billion dollars per year & they walked away from about $3 billion in Russia. These companies will do fine without the poli boards hero, Putin.

Russians tried nationalizing businesses once( Soviet Union) & it failed miserably. Good luck.

How much in bail out money will be given back to them by the American tax payer for taking such a brave stance against Putin?

This is what you get when countries' governments act like mafia cabals. Eventually, they all turn on each other. No country, except maybe Haiti, is exempt.
