They will rage on no matter who is nominated. Go with the best pick. Our nation depends on it.

All speculation doesn't matter until voter fraud is cleaned up.

Thomas and/or Alito should have retired last year so it wouldn't be an issue in the midterms.
They waited too long unless one of them retires right now. Wait til summer and the Dems will increase their fundraising on it and have a better chance of taking the Senate.
Honestly, I'm disappointed in both, especially Thomas. If ANYONE has cause to get revenge on democrats, it's him, but all that said, it's a lifetime appointment and they can do as they please.

They need to retire before the midterms. If the Dems take the Senate there's no way Trump could get a decent candidate confirmed.
Yeap if they really care about the country and SCOTUS they need to retire this summer

Why not Roberts, or wise Latina, or the biology major, or... oh well.

We can't count on that Swamp Skunk for anything.

Lord, don't let Trump appoint a checkbox.

What happens to Bidens appointment if it is determined that he was never elected?

Alito and Thomas absolutely must retire during Trump's second term.

I'm sure they both know that and will because the future of the country is at stake. We certainly don't need another DEI justice.

Alito and Thomas are stalwarts that will be hard to replace.

If we lose the majority in SCOTUS, people just don't understand how fricked and degraded America will become.
Imagine a court majority of the likes of Brown.....

A retirement announcement just before the midterms may light some fire under the base before the midterms. They need something right now.

Hate to see him leave. Outstanding Justice.
