People are going to believe in something. True Christians believe in Jesus. Muslims believe in Mohammed and his teachings. Jews believe in the God of Abraham. Etc
Those who are atheist or agnostic, latch on to something else. Many of the Dems fit the atheist/agnostic category so they substitute whatever the DNC is preaching as their Gospel. They don’t question the leaders of their “church”. It is rather cultish.

There was a time that the republicans were over run by the hard core religious right and it was cultish. There are still stains from that era in the moralist positions that you see some take.
The democrats are being run by a similar mindset excluding an actual god. They see government as their god and their party as the religion. Government is the great charity which they will use to do good in the world.
Cost is irrelevant.

Has anyone ever wondered why so many child stars ended up on drugs and totally jacked up as adults? If you listen, they tell stories about the steady access to drugs and alcohol and being taken around to all of these elite, Hollywood parties. Now, why would children be plied with drugs and alcohol and paraded around these parties with adults? Where were their "adult supervisors"?

Bumping this thread over a clip Glenn Greenwald posted of her shitting all over Alisa Milano and people in power. The journalist even makes a veiled implied threat to McGowan live on the air, and no fricks given by her. This came out of my mouth after seeing this.

I disagree with her on pretty much all of her political viewpoints.. but I respect that she is standing firm in her beliefs. I think the metoo movement shattered the illusion of the dems, for her.
She seems to have really believed in the metoo movement..and wasn't just virtue signaling about it for political points. But her belief was crushed when she saw Biden's accuser be shunned by 99% of media...and when that accuser was treated like a lying whore..by Democrats. Just because she dared to accuse a Democrat of something.
