Keep Ron on deck for '28.

Talk to Chris Christie and Bobby Jindal how well waiting an extra 4 years worked out for them. For 2012, they were seen as plausible front runners. By 2016, they were sad joke has-beens relegated to the kiddie table and are nobodies now working at ABC and writing a column for WSJ.

If Ron waits until 2028, then he'll have to pray any other possible GOP front runners don't come on the scene and supplant him and become the IT thing.

You never know how the future is going to shake out and you take your chances when you get them.

2024 is Ron's time to strike while his stock is as high as it is right now.

Shooters shoot.

Many of those out of state officers likely took early retirement and will bring their pensions with them. Win win for the Florida economy.

The last 5 years have not given you basic insight in understanding that the last thing this country needs is another fricking politician running the place? You tell me - what has he accepted and who does he owe for his current position?

You mean cities that has pure blue D+20 seats that were already represented by democrats and didn't need any sort of fraud to win those?

You mean those cities and precincts where +100% voter turnout happens that affects the rest of the state? Australia gets @ 90% and it's a law there punishable by a fine for NOT voting. +100% though, eh? 2016 and 2020 and before as well but we were not necessarily awake enough prior to the BS from 2016 to fully grasp what was actually going on. My 1 vote in SW LA can be outvoted by 10-20+ fraudulent votes from NOLA. You are cool with that?

If we cannot address the elephant in the room that is 1 vote per citizen, all of your concerns about Trump not being presidential or too rough or mean on twitter don't mean a damned thing even if DDE or RWR were running.

Audit Every State Now.

Not a big Trump guy but the guy did appeal to white working-class voters like nobody else. He's like catnip to them in a way that I don't think DeSantis will be.

Can you imagine the average working-class white being excited to vote for DeSantis to the same extent that they were excited to vote for Trump?

It goes without saying that college-educated whites will be much more likely to vote for DeSantis than Trump. However, I think Republicans need to make a decision to cater to working-class voters rather than college-educated voters. College-educated voters are not going to vote for the GOP to the same extent that they did pre-Trump no matter who the candidate is.

Look, Desantis is awesome and there's no doubt about it.

I just feel like he has more work to do in Florida. They could sure as hell use another Desantis term for sure. 2024 is going to 100% be rigged for Harris anyway, so it's either let Trump get fricked again or let Desantis get fricked for the first time.

I think Trump gives us probably the best shot in '24 at possibly breaking the voter fraud machine like he did in '16, and Desantis would be a great candidate to run in 2028.

JMHO, not trying to start a fight.

So you think a guy that sends half the country into trigger convulsions has a better shot at a rigged system than a squeaky clean governor from a large state that has crushed it throughout the pandemic?

I said something similar and got downvoted the other day.

I voted for him in 2020 and would again today. I’ll most likely vote for in in 2024 if he’s the nominee.

This week with Colin Powell is a perfect example of why I’d rather DesSantis.

Trump’s statement about CP wasn’t wrong. CP lied to the UN. He lied to the American people. He endorsed people that hated him and called him a murderer in the last 5 years.

But the way he worded that “release” is going to make sure that a certain segment of people never vote for him. ever.

He loses chances with unforced errors like that all the time. I like that he fights. I like that he isn’t PC. But do it without being an a-hole and costing yourself voters.

DeSantis is the culture warrior without the bloody past.

Yes. I don’t have a kind word to say about Colin Powell and think he was a monstrous scumbag that is responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people. One thing for me to say what Trump did, but Trump should have simply kept his trap shut.

Here's a counter point. Why get so worked up about federal elections? I would rather have 50 defiant governors telling the federal government to eat shite.

Right. Local elections are far more important and the riff raff that got in during those elections are what set the stage for the 2020 debacle.

Well you’re wrong there. Before the election, Biden was polling 30 points over Trump with college educated whites. You know where they ended? Even. frickING EVEN. Meaning whites on mass were lying to pollsters for fear of losing their jobs. Off by 30.

No, the communists did. I will do anything it takes to defeat them. DeSantis is by far the best bet. Trump will most certainly get my vote if he is the 2024 nominee, but he’s not the champion I think most suited to defeat them

What about Desantis as VP under Trump? Could they co-exist?

Could y’all please stop with this stupidity? DeSantis is better placed as the Governor of Florida than Vice President. VP is typically a worthless position where you do nothing.

I would have preferred if he used the police in his state as a recruiting avenue.

If you work in law enforcement in the state of Florida, and you know of someone being persecuted by the Banana Hammocks in Chicago etc., and they lost their job as a result of said persecution, then recruit them to Florida. Nominate a candidate for review. If they are acceptable, then the current LEO and the newly acquired LEO split 10k.

Conservatives are better off solidifying States, cities and counties.

Even nationally, Republicans fricking suck. Time to reign it in locally and make some stands.

Correctly so.

If either of them had been worth a shite, then what you saw occur would have never happened. Besides, they were both RINO shitbags. I guess that explains your affinity for them.

Grassroots support. I agree with this approach as well. My take though is:

ETA - Good luck with your chemo treatments my good sir.

I couldn't disagree with this take more. The premise behind the thread is DeSantis reaching out to first responders displaced by shite policy in other states.

He's doing his very best to keep the average Floridian employed by fighting vaccine mandates.

College educated whites may vote for him more because of his demeanor, but I wouldn't put my eggs in that basket.

I think he will appeal to suburban women more. He's a good looking white dude. Say what you will, but it matters.

Suburban white women were offended by Trumps mannerisms and tweets.

Now they are offended by the way in which their families are under assault by the leftist authoritarian goose-steppers.

They know that they were duped by social media and the MSM, and are pissed about it.

My take, Trump will see a surge in support amongst soccer moms.

DeSantis, while doing a fantastic job, does not have the inroads with this block of voters to that degree, good looks or not. He will be looked at by them as simply another white guy.

In short, there are a lot of angry “momma bears” out there and they will not only support Trump, but will do so in a shockingly open manner. Just my .02.

Then explain democrats getting as close as 4 seats away from losing the house when they were projected to gain

Well in Georgia there was something like 50-100k president votes with zero house of representative votes.

Guess the fake ballots only voted for Biden ?

You're not one of those idiots that thinks we had a legitimate election are you?
