Now it does seem to have become a thing for the mentally ill “trans” killers to make statements with. Which suggests it’s probably been discussed on sub-reddits or discord.

I am not saying that it's not from a video game, but have some nuance. He used the bullets to kill a high profile conservative who he then texted a confession of killing because of his "hate". Reading between the lines that implies that yes, while he took the phrase from the game, he used the phrase to assassinate a political enemy.

He associated with "trans" communities, associated with antifa ideology, called a major right wing figure "hateful" and even KILLED him and said he did to "stop his hate".
